We are delighted to launch details of the Youth Beatz Fringe Festival for 2024! Running for 9 days between Wednesday 19th and Thursday 27th June, the Fringe Festival will see events taking place in every Ward area of Dumfries and Galloway.
The Youth Beatz Fringe Festival events are FREE for young people and families across the region, and events are designed by a group of young volunteers to make sure they are exciting for young people, and fully accessible geographically to communities across the region. As well as a wide and fun range of events and activities open to all, there are also specific events for young people with Additional Support Needs, Young Parents and Care Experienced Young People.
From Roller Discos to Inflatables, outdoor Urban Festivals to Music Nights, there is something for everyone being delivered in local communities across Dumfries and Galloway. See below for details of each event happening across the region, and keep an eye on our social media channels!

Youth Beatz Fringe Presents the 4th Annual Gathering for Care Experienced Young People aged 11 – 25 in Dumfries & Galloway – #WeCare
The event starts at 12noon & will finish at 8:00pm, there’s workshops in the afternoon and a celebration event in the evening
Open to any young person 11 – 25 who is care experienced. This includes young people who are or have been looked after at home on a supervision order, and those who have lived in kinship, foster, residential or secure care – young people who have ‘left care’ and are under the age of 25 are welcome to attend the event too!
Open to young people who are ‘looked after’ in D&G, even if their social worker is from another area i.e. Glasgow, Orkney or Carlisle.

Lunch, Dinner & Snacks throughout the day will be provided for all young people, free of charge.
Young people attending will have be part of a group with others young people who are a similar age. Each group will have a dedicated worker who will be young people’s point of contact throughout the event.
Transport will be provided from towns across Dumfries and Galloway, picking up and dropping off at local secondary schools – all information is on the sign up form!
