Youth Beatz Festival are looking to work and collaborate with local organisations, secondary schools, parent councils, sports clubs and community groups to deliver activities and events that will feature as part of this year’s Youth Beatz Fringe Festival.

The Youth Beatz Fringe Festival runs in the lead-up to the main Youth Beatz event and provides free, accessible activities for young people and families across all 12 Ward areas of Dumfries and Galloway, with a focus on providing accessible opportunities across the region.

Previous programmes have featured a wide range of fun events such as roller discos, football nights, community fun nights, sports sessions, as well as targeted activities for young parents, care-experienced young people, and young people with additional support needs.

The Fringe Festival helps to build confidence, reduces isolation, and promotes wellbeing. The events can be as creative and diverse as you like.

Maximum grant per application is £1,500, with £1,500 allocated for each of the 12 Ward areas within Dumfries and Galloway. We would also encourage applications below £1,500 where possible to allow for more than one event per Ward.

Applications close on Tuesday 12 May at 12 noon, and if you have any queries about the Youth Beatz Fringe Fund, please contact:
